In the Hills of the World is a large-format painting, created using the poured acrylic technique with the addition of other artistic media. It captures the beautiful atmosphere of the Scottish landscape, and the simple graphic element of a fogged window adds another dimension to the painting. In an interior it becomes a dominant feature of the room, and the viewer is reluctant to look away, as if the painting were drawing you into the landscape.
