This original watercolor was inspired by unforgettable impressions from my trip to sunny Italy, where juicy lemons grow on trees right on the city streets and fill the air with freshness. The painting captures a rich cluster of ripe, bright yellow lemons surrounded by fresh green leaves. My goal was to transfer onto paper the warm Mediterranean sun, the joy of life and the lively energy of Italian summer.
