The painting depicts a female figure with an abstract background. I would leave the interpretation to the imagination of the kind viewer. The abstract background is very light and in muted colours. The figure, on the contrary, is in rich and more expressive shades, so it stands out in the foreground. I completed the modelling of the shapes with short strokes of a semi-dry flat brush. The colours used have a granular pigment, which spontaneously creates structural effects.
