In the painting we see a seated female figure with a fantastical background. The title refers to the zodiac sign "Libra" (September 23 – October 23), which is depicted twice in the background. As for the technique used, I chose an experimental mixed-media solution of my own. In the first layer I made a charcoal underdrawing on watercolor paper, which I then fixed well. In the second layer I applied dry pastel, which was then blended with acrylic medium. Finally there were layers of acrylic paint and a final varnish.
