A Zen garden? (Sometimes even a "Japanese garden"). Experts might disagree, but this is roughly how I imagine a space where one could, if not exactly meditate, at least do something similar: there are trees, both old and young, also pebbles and even a boulder. The insects have crawled away somewhere and a pleasant coolness reigns around, while everywhere else in the surroundings there is summer heat.
