This is a mixed media painting, with oil as a base for the texture, finished in detail with acrylic paints. It is an exploration of the blossoming of femininity. Flowers and pastel colours are meant to gently express femininity, while silver streams of colour add a cooler, metallic effect, something like cracks on the soul. The complex condition of the female gender is being worked out here.
