The inspiration for this painting was the desert. Yes, a place so distant to us, and yet close in its dangers and its beauty. Sometimes life is like a desert, vast and endless, where one can feel lost and lonely, groping in an effort to find the right path. The desert is an environment of extreme conditions, where temperatures can rise to unbearable heights and where there is not enough water or shade, leading to a feeling of despair and exhaustion.
