This painting was created during my visit to Cavtat, Croatia. It captures the magic of the evening colours of the sunset over the Adriatic Sea. I felt the warmth radiating from the sea and I was fascinated by the contrast between water and land, which underlines the intensity of the sun's reflections on the surface. This moment of calm and harmony between nature and light deeply inspired me, and I tried to transfer it into my work.
