On the canvas stretches a silent forest immersed in autumn with a stream winding between the roots of trees. Brush strokes are visible in every part of the canvas: in some places, heavy layers of oil paint create an almost relief structure, in others the colors are dry-brushed leaving the texture of the canvas exposed. Light penetrates the crowns of the trees only in fragments, short light strokes suggest rays reflecting on the water. The whole painting feels alive and emotional.
