I enjoy creating paintings in which ordinary objects take on roles different from their usual ones. In this case, an ordinary goldfish has become an ethereal ship sailing above a sea of clouds. The painting is an invitation to use one’s imagination and a reminder that the journey can sometimes be more important than the destination itself.
