When I first saw the photograph of this girl, she immediately addressed me and I said to myself..."so this I will paint". I placed a teddy bear in her hands, which is meant to represent tenderness and kindness…from her lower hand fall small luminous crumbs reminiscent of stardust. From the stars in the background and on the dress it is clear that this is an evening creature and therefore I named this painting Evening Star… That's how I see her.
