This work is a sibling of the painting Ostrý in autumn and, like it, is inspired by its own canvas. Within a few days after painting the first Ostrý, the weather changed significantly, snow fell, and the air began to smell of winter. This led me to create such a diptych, and I incorporated similar motifs to those in the previous image into its "little brother" as well — again withered grass, this time poking out from under the snow, a snow-covered meadow, Mount Ostrý, and the sky in winter tones. Even here, one can occasionally spot him
