The number 11 here symbolizes the Silenced Lion—two opposing principles, forces, attitudes, or goals that stand in conflict with one another.The number 11 represents the tension between two polarities that must learn to cooperate without one consuming the other. Only when both sides remain true to their essence will they generate true value and strength. The painting is full of inner conflict, raw emotion, and a search for balance between roar and silence, between wildness and self-control.
