I really love ravens, crows and rooks. I enjoy walking in places where they gather. There were always many of them in the park in Budějovice, or at Ladronka in Prague. Because some find them spooky, I gave the painting a similar feel. Personally, however, I admire them for their intelligence. This painting is an oil on canvas, which is glued to a board.
