Life is an enormous gift, it is not something to be taken for granted. And it is finite. The mere fact that I can feel, that I can perceive, that I am alive is reason for gratitude. It does not matter whether I judge it as good or bad, right or wrong. It is simply here and I can experience it. And that is what it is about. One day it will end. Sooner or later I will leave my physical body and become once again part of the ocean of consciousness from which I was born. But I will no longer be able to perceive either beauty or pain.
