I really love the full moon and the night sky. "The Blood Moon" is the first painting in the "Full Moon" series. I started painting this picture during the full moon and a summer lunar eclipse. I was full of energy and did not sleep all night. Then I set it aside for exactly one month and finished it during the next full moon. This painting is full of moonlight and lunar energy.
