In Ukraine I painted a series of watercolours "Ukrainian Carpathians". I painted from nature or from my photos. I am in Ukraine very rarely and nature changes. That is why I really wanted to convey precisely this moment. Maybe in a year something will be different: new areas of cleared forest, or on the contrary a new young forest.
