The work is inspired by a photo and processed through my own art. It is part of the little village that the wife of King Louis XVI – Marie Antoinette – had built. Interestingly, nothing was ever ground in the mill, and the whole thing served as a decoration of village life. The painting is made on canvas with a blind frame, it is painted on the edges as well, and a final glossy varnish is applied to the painting.
