Inner Gebo is based on the rune Gebo, a symbol of gift, balance, and exchange. In this painting, I do not perceive it as an image of an external relationship, but as a process that takes place inside a person. The crossing of lines creates a point of decision. A place where the need to give and the necessity to protect oneself meet. The suspended chiastolite stone functions as both anchor and burden.
