Hodi Ferenc
Srbsko
Serbian artist Ferenc Hódi has a name as intriguing as his work—a name that evokes the essence of a surrealist fantasy novel or an alchemical elixir.
Ferenc was born on November 2, 1950, in Novi Sad, and his work is deeply rooted in European traditions, earning him a place among the world’s most interesting and original fantasy painters. In terms of originality, he rivals the two greatest painters of the irrational: the Czech illuminator Ernst Fuchs and the Swiss pioneer of dark iconography, H. R. Giger.
Hódi’s paintings transcend ostentation and ornamentation. At their core, they are works of unvarnished truth that invite viewers into deep and mysterious realms.
