Ferenc was born on November 2, 1950, in Novi Sad, and his work is deeply rooted in European traditions, earning him a place among the world’s most interesting and original fantasy painters. In terms of originality, he rivals the two greatest painters of the irrational: the Czech illuminator Ernst Fuchs and the Swiss pioneer of dark iconography, H. R. Giger.
