Billie Eilish released her first full-length recording a year later: the EP *Don’t Smile at Me*, which was certified gold on several charts. Her debut album, *When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?*, was released on March 29, 2019. Among the best-known songs from this album are “Bad Guy,” “Bury a Friend,” and “When the Party’s Over.” The songs “Wish You Were Gay” and “Xanny”—both from the aforementioned album—as well as the single “Everything I Wanted” also charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
“Words are more powerful than some sounds. Noise doesn’t last long. Song lyrics are so important, and people don’t realize it.” Billie Eilish
