For the purpose of a collage made of clippings, I chose a girl's head as the theme. I cut the printed materials used with a scalpel, with scissors and tore them by hand. I also toned the glued clippings with acrylic paints to enhance the plasticity of the shapes. For surface protection, the collage was coated with acrylic varnish. By coincidence, I also had at my disposal printed materials from the first half of the twentieth century, which had yellowed or even browned with age, which made it possible to gradate the tonality of the main object.
