This is a painting created using several techniques. The background is spray paint, the girl and the front layer are acrylic paints, the final layer is a natural glossy acrylic varnish. The painting captures the present time, when we are all influenced by media, advertising, etc. It is an emotionally charged work that strongly works with the contrast of light and shadow (silhouette vs. rays) and cool colors. It depicts a moment of deep contemplation and a longing for freedom.
