Alena Bery (her legal name is Alena Beránková) is a Czech artist, born in Prague. Her artistic journey began in her childhood, when she constantly felt the urge to create something, and this urge became the driving force behind her lifelong artistic development. In her works she captures not only the beauty and power of nature, but also the complex and intimate relationships between people, their emotions and desires. She reflects these aspects in her illustrations and paintings, where each brush or pencil stroke represents a part of her perception of the world. Her works are not mere representations, they are an experience that invites us to see the world in a new way, and an invitation to find beauty in everyday life. Inspired by artists such as Alphonse Mucha and Luís Royo, she not only follows in their footsteps, but also reinterprets and develops their legacy in her own unique and distinctive visual language. Her works are multi-layered, full of symbols and metaphors that invite deeper exploration. Her works have been exhibited in Malaga, Spain, Ladronka, Prague, U Ropeway Gallery, Topič Hall, Ústí nad Labem.
