Alena Jirasová

Alena Jirasová nee. Šidlíková I am a professional painter focusing mainly on landscape motifs, Prague corners and floral still lifes. I create my paintings using the technique of oil painting with an emphasis on the play of light, shadows and colour reflections. I offer the possibility of painting a painting on commission. I was born in Prague in 1962. I graduated from art school and have been painting professionally since 1985. At school I was a pupil of Professor Kytka. Outside of school, I improved my skills in painting and drawing courses with the academic painter František Nedved and the academic painter Oldřich Holub, both of whom taught me a lot. I paint colour-balanced paintings, I put my energy into them. Because I put my inner energy into the painting - it takes a long time to create, of course. You will see me at exhibitions in stone galleries about 5 times a year. The permanent exhibition is in the studio, refreshments are a matter of course. I appreciate incredibly that it is a painting from me that you buy.
