I paint because I love when something new is created under my hands. At the same time, creating requires complete concentration on one activity, one image, which is incredibly calming. It's also a game of patience, which sometimes I win and sometimes my work wins. Either way, it's always a game and I enjoy that. I came to painting gradually, through a series of sketchbooks. At that time I was mainly inspired by figures and faces, in short the physical side of people. Nowadays, I use my brush to transfer to the canvas more of the non-physical, what is inside us, feelings, thoughts, emotions. I am most inspired by nature, magic, the universe, and I like to work with a spatula. I paint free subjects and commissioned paintings.
