Daniel Filip

Daniel Filip is an artist from Karlovy Vary. He was born on 24 May 1982. His artistic tendencies have been manifested since childhood. He has tried various artistic techniques, but his greatest domain is drawing, painting and woodworking, where he follows a decades-old family tradition.Oil painting is one of the artist's favourite artistic mediums. It is where his character comes through, balancing between abstract and figurative painting.He often does not name his works, leaving the viewer free to make their own associations. He seeks free inspiration from important international and Czech artists such as Rembrandt, Diego Velázquez, William Turner, Gerhard Richter and Zdeněk Beran.Daniel Filip's works can be seen not only in solo or group exhibitions, but also in many private galleries and luxury restaurants.
