Eva Camprová

Eva was born in 1992 in Prague, where she still lives and works. She graduated from the Secondary School of Arts and Crafts on Žižkov Square in Prague and the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University. She started to regularly devote herself to drawing, which has been her favourite hobby since childhood, during a difficult period when she was almost burnt out. It was then that she rediscovered the joy and fulfillment of creating, an enthusiasm that she wants to share through her works. In her paintings she hides stories inspired by life. Her drawings mirror not only her inner state of mind, thoughts and emotions, but also her awareness on an endless journey of self-development. In her paintings she connects seemingly incompatible things. She gives them a different meaning, but portrays them in a believable and descriptive way. In her current work, she often deals with the theme of "home". When she draws, it helps her to slow down, to not perceive the world around her. She is fully immersed in the artistic process and this is valuable time for her in today's hectic times.
