Heyran Mustafa-Zade

Heyran Mustafayeva (professional name Heyran Mustafa-Zade) is Prague based artist, originally from Baku, Azerbaijan. She is a graduate of Graphic Arts and Painting studios of Art Design Institute in Prague, participant and the laureate of more than 30 local and international art projects.

Being art director and graphic designer of different organization and companies in Baku she graduates bachelor honors degree in 2013, applies for the master in Czechia where she moves and lives till now.

In 2016 after master degree on Faculty of Arts at Ostrava University she is invited to the capital as Senior Designer and Marketing Specialist for one of the biggest transportation companies in Eastern and Central Europe. Nowadays Heyran's art is represented mainly on her solo exhibition in Prague and different art platforms and galleries. The sale of her artworks in different techniques (graphic arts, painting, mixed media) is being done under brand HEYRANAM.

ARTISTIC APPROACH

I am Heyran. I live and work in the Czech Republic for almost 10 years. I come from one of the most beautiful regions of our planet, Azerbaijan, which is undoubtedly reflected in the palette of my paintings, in the sense of detail and ornamental drawing. But I am different in painting, controversial to traditions. However, it is better to see the art once than to listen to a thousand words.I am Heyran. Through art I try to convey what I am not able to explain in words. I was looking for ways to discover the truth in history, in philosophy, in different cultures, in people, in nature, but in the end I stopped and looked inside, into myself, into the beginnings, into basic intuitions and emotions. It is art that has become the main instrument with which I try to sing about the truth. The process of constant searching has no end, and there is no name for the goals that I try to achieve with art. Art gives unlimited, the purest freedom that can ever exist.I am Heyran. I am in love with the power that spins the whole universe, I'm enchanted by life.
