Irina Bilenka is a painter whose art reflects the deep emotions of her sensitive soul, embodying her reality and becoming an essential element of her existence. Irina’s paintings are vibrant and full of positive energy, radiating love, kindness, and light. Her works stand out for their atmosphere, refined aesthetic taste, and tenderness. She serves beauty, making the world more magnificent. The texture of the forms, the perfect color harmony, and the blend of romanticism and realism are the hallmarks of her art. Viewers find her artistic expressions easy to connect with, as her style combines the methods of realism and symbolism. Yet, art becomes truly magical when Irina communicates directly with the audience through her soul. We hope that her artistic language will resonate positively and sincerely with the public.
Irina Bilenka was born in Dnipro, Ukraine. Throughout her life, she has been captivated by artistic imagery and how others perceive the world. Irina has been passionate about painting since childhood. She graduated from an art school, though at the time, art was merely a hobby. She went on to study history at the National University of Dnipro. Irina also worked as a history teacher. In 2003, she moved to Kyiv and studied interior design, completing the course in 2007. Since then, she has been involved in decorating and painting private homes, transforming her passion for painting into her life's work.
Irina is also engaged in gardening and landscape design, which she views as a form of collaboration between the artist and nature. She cherishes this connection, believing that the exchange of energy between the earth and the artist unlocks countless possibilities. Through a variety of materials and methods, Irina seeks visual solutions for her work, and when she finds them, her painting is complete.
Irina was a finalist and participant in the 2014 Young Talents exhibition in Kyiv, organized by the Artaliga charity foundation. In 2019, she successfully held two solo exhibitions in Italy at the Fellini Theatre, Catania. From March 7-21, 2020, Irina’s works were part of the group exhibition “When Dreams Come True” at the Kyiv Art Gallery "Globus." In 2023-24, her paintings were exhibited in several group shows and at the Art Festival in Prague and Poděbrady, organized by the Art Gallery Globus Praha, as well as in several cities across Germany. Since 2022, Irina has been living in Germany, working in various styles and genres, including realism, landscape painting, modern abstract art, symbolism, and mural painting. However, realistic and romantic landscapes remain her favorite theme, which is closest to her heart.
