Jan Minář

Hi...I was born 15.1.1973 in Tábor. I have been doing art for over 30 years. Painting for me is mainly a relaxation for the soul, an escape from everyday worries and transferring experiences, feelings to the canvas of paintings. In recent years I have been devoted to abstraction, which I find incredibly fulfilling for its infinite limits. Since 2015 I live in a magical place on the outskirts of the village Přehořov near Soběslav,where I fulfilled an old dream... studio in the attic. Life in the countryside, surrounded by nature and good, interesting people inspires me a lot. In 2018 I was selected for the international exhibition INTERSALON AJV in České Budějovice. My last exhibition in August 2020 in Sobeslav.V Gothic tower of Galerie Hláska was very interesting for its spaces and encouraging to further work for its success.

Year 2022- international exhibition Intersalon -(80 artists from 10 countries) at Dobrohoř Castle.
