Jarmila Baláková

My name is Jarmila Baláková and I create paintings and pictures using various techniques.It is my passion and joy and fulfillment in life. Although I have enjoyed it since childhood, I am fully committed to it when the children are grown up and go their own artistic ways. They grew up in a family where both parents are artists and the father has been a professional artist all his life.So they have seen everything live.And that it is possible to do what I enjoy and fulfill. I am going to have exhibitions this year and the techniques that I enjoy and are my own are dry pastel, oil,when I paint and draw flowers or landscapes. Also pouring acrylics is an absolutely wonderful technique where by mixing colours and pouring them on the canvas in a certain way, magical and beautiful colourful scenes are created. I often say to myself that this is not something one would invent,it is fantasy and magic itself. I like painting with acrylics even in the abstract style and sometimes I paint a landscape or a flower or a still life. But I prefer to reach for oil or dry pastel.I believe my paintings will make you happy in your home or work or as a gift as they have done for others.
