Jarmila Gyöngyösi

I have been painting pictures for almost 20 years and my artistic work started basically from one day to the next. What brought me to painting in the first place was my fascination with colours, combined with their unmistakable energy. Playing with the variety and power of colours has become an integral part of my life. It doesn't matter whether the paintings are customized for a specific person, with a specific intention or painted just for fun. I always approach all of them with the same passion and feeling. Through various combinations of colours, different energies can be created. This is the main reason why I chose abstract art. Working freely with colours allows others to see in my paintings what they have, need or want. My work is occasionally complemented by works in which I let myself be guided by classical ink. When contrasting black and white, I like to see how these two energies complement each other and create different shapes or symbols that bring us messages.
