I have been fascinated by painting and drawing since I was a child, and as I grew older I became more and more aware that I was entering into a very special form of meditation. I learned drawing and painting as a self-taught artist and with the assistance of my uncle , who studied drawing and painting mainly in France between 1966 and 1976. The source of my pencil drawing subjects are indigenous tribes and their personalities, e.g. Sitting Bull, Nez Perces, Blackfoot. Currently I specialize in Pop Art painting in acrylic on Canvas panel. I am often inspired by personalities and film works whose significance somehow transcends the average human existence ... Robert De Niro (Taxidriver), Madonna , Margot Robbie (The Suicide Squad) , John Lennon , etc.
