Jiří Petr

Jiří Petr is a Czech painter who was born in 1980 in Polička. After studying at the Gymnasium he intensively devoted himself to drawing and painting. After years spent searching for his own style and handwriting, he developed a distinctive way of working - he applies paint with a woodblock. The subjects of his paintings are diverse, all united by the technique of painting. In his work he pays great attention to love and women, which he stylizes in cubism and slightly in surrealism. His attitude to life, which is based on calmness and relaxation, is reflected in the atmosphere of his paintings, which appear peaceful and serene. As a lover of nature, he is also a lover of landscapes, where he inserts a composition with a girl and a black cat. He presents his works mainly on the Internet, where he holds countless auctions a year.
