Josef Dolák ( 1955 Český Krumlov ) photographer and painter - autodidact member of the Výtoň Art Association member of the Association of Artists of the Czech Republic - "I have been painting with greater intensity since 1999. My work has gone through many stages inspired by various artistic movements from classicism, surrealism and impressionism to abstraction. In abstraction, which has become the main direction of my artistic work, I try to go beyond the limits of ordinary perception and crystallize in a purely abstract parable, which should lead the viewer to independence in the perception of the captured world or spiritual processes and draw him into the play of lights, colors, curves, lines, shapes and stimulate his imagination and imagination. A great source of inspiration for my work is Impressionism, which is strongly applied in some of my paintings. Often the work that comes out of Impressionism evolves into abstraction.
