My name is Markéta Bakulová and I live in Chrudim. I have loved to paint and create since I was a child (e.g. ceramics and candles), but it was only three years ago that I found my creativity with real intensity. I started first with pencil, then added acrylic on canvas and finally oil painting. I enjoy the ability to choose how I create at the time. There are days when I go from drying canvas to pencils and continue with drawing. I love the process when a new face or nude begins to emerge on a blank paper or canvas after a few hours. I listen to music very often with my painting and drawing. This combination fills me with happiness, tremendous energy and the desire to do nothing but create :-)
