My name is Nikola Halabuková, I paint under the pseudonym Nixolline in the Czech Republic - Liberec, where I was born in 1994. I have had the desire to create something since childhood, but abstract art absorbed me only when I was unable to express my feelings - when I was looking for myself and a deeper connection with life. My art is therefore often influenced by my inner feelings "I paint how I feel" and abstraction gives me the opportunity to explore, experiment and, most importantly, to express myself. I am mostly inspired by impressions from my own life, the world around us - nature, the universe or various opposites as they are in the world and in our lives.
Most often I use cotton canvases on which I layer different media, different techniques or different textures creating movement and emotions. "Art is hard to put into words, but we all feel it.. even if differently, we feel it".
