ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Color inspires me and finding the right composition calms me down. I invite the viewer to base their judgement solely on their own perception, to listen to themselves and discover the world around them through their feelings and senses.I am an illustrator and artist. Now I live and work in Prague but I come from a small seaside town in the south of Crimea. There I learned to perceive the beauty of nature. The seascapes, salt lakes and the humble nature of the steppe are the things that shaped my understanding of beauty. Thus, I think art requires understanding and strives to be simple. In 2011, I graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, where I received a degree in graphic design. My education in graphic design has had a profound impact on my visual language, my art is bright, full of contrast and dynamics, its aim is to catch the viewer's attention. However, it was my work experience as an illustrator that helped create the most careful approach to each piece of art.Art reminds me of life as I perceive it, and for me it is a sequence of chances, impulses, but also carefully pre-planned decisions. Every time I choose a shade or move a brush, I am making a decision. And I base it on my emotions and experiences. My emotions inspire me and point the way to my paintings.
