I was born in February 1982. I live with my wife and two children in my native Liberec.
I work as a pharmacist, but much more than dispensing medicines I am fulfilled by my artistic activity. I have been creating since I was very young - cutting, gluing, drawing, painting, carving. Because of school, these hobbies had to go by the wayside, but not long before I got married, my wife gave me a painting easel. This was perhaps a kind of commitment for me and after graduation I returned to drawing and painting. Since then, I've always had the urge to create something interesting, and I've tried to arrange my life so that I have more and more time and space to do so.
My goal is to be able to faithfully capture whatever is in my environment with ease. I prefer to use crayons or watercolor to do this. I get my ideas while wandering in nature, my favourite place to go is the Jizera Mountains. I like to watch how the seasons change the trees, forests and rocks. But I don't shy away from architecture either - I draw churches or castles and chateaus, but I don't despise the apartment blocks in our housing estate either. And I like to look at Jested - the peak really fits there!
I want my works to be simple, light and clear. Yet I often slip into too much detail. And so my pictures are full of leaves, twigs and windows, you could say it's quite characteristic of them so far. Simplification is a work in progress!
I'll only show my painted maps on Online-gallery for now.
