Simona Jachimecová

I am originally from eastern Slovakia, but I have been lucky enough to live in different parts of the world during my life. I have lived the last ten years in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates and I have found my home in Turkey. This diversity of backgrounds, coupled with my passion for travel, has greatly influenced my work and shaped my way of thinking. These experiences have been reflected in the creation of my unique artistic technique, which is based on intuition and a connection to a universal source. I use an unconventional approach in my work - I paint entirely with my hands and fingers. I feel an intimate connection between the sky and the earth, which I try to translate into the visual harmony of my work. The paintings I create are created by gradually layering colors and sometimes materials, creating stories and atmosphere that act as harmonizing elements in the interior. My art is inspired by the work of artists such as Lee Krasner, Joan Mitchell, Willem de Kooning, Van Gogh and Monet. My works reflect the emotions and inner drives of the soul that are rooted in the harmony of nature and represent an invitation to celebrate life on its endless journey.
