My name is Tereza Balcarová and I was born in Prague. I graduated from the Václav Hollar High School of Art, majoring in Ceramic and Porcelain Art. I continued my studies at the Faculty of Art and Architecture in Liberec, majoring in Visual Communication. I didn't find myself in this field, as they say, and I flew to Great Britain for a year. After my return I got into the Faculty of Design and Art of Ladislav Sutnar in Pilsen, majoring in Painting, thanks to talent tests. I didn't stop abroad either. As a result, I participated in exhibitions in Colchester at "Slack Space" gallery and "Firstsate" gallery. I participated in the erasm project, where I studied for one semester in Italy at the Accademi di belle arti di Frosinone. In Pilsen, I continued my Master's studies in painting, which I successfully completed. I paint mainly with oil paints. I like to experiment, lately I am more drawn to oil painting. The motifs in my paintings often express my feelings. I enjoy painting people from my surroundings and experiences of everyday life.
