After primary school he entered the grammar school in Brandýs nad Labem, but interrupted his studies in the first year and became an electromechanic. After his apprenticeship he worked as a technician in the ZPA Čakovice plant. At the same time, he started studying at the secondary industrial engineering school in Čelákovice and after graduation (1992) he started full-time studies at the Faculty of Environment of the University of Life Sciences in Ústí nad Labem. From the age of 18 he was a member of the Czechoslovak Entomological Society, dedicated to collecting and studying beetles of the family Curculionidae of the Bohemian Central Highlands. At the same time, he devoted himself to amateur oil painting of landscapes and first nudes, and while studying he simultaneously attended zoological and art lectures at the Faculty of Education. He wrote popular educational articles for magazines, especially for the breeding-oriented magazine Fauna, where he eventually became a member of the editorial board. At the same time, he wrote prose - short detective and romantic stories, which he published in various magazines, sometimes under randomly invented pseudonyms (so that the stories would look authentic). Besides, he worked for the Gallery behind the Gate in Louny ( 1+420 776 100 838 was a pupil of Dr. Petr Růžička - drawing and graphics) as an external graphic designer and author of pen drawings for commercial use. He had a number of jobs in which he mainly sought inspiration for his work. Among other things, he has been a small business manager, electrician, advertising consultant, tourist lodge manager, salesman, auto parts belt worker, IT data collection worker, private detective agency worker, a tattoo parlour tradesman, as well as a clerk and recorder at the circuit court.
