Vladimíra Kalach (*1962) artist, painter and lecturer.Description of work:In my work I focus mainly on landscape painting, which I present mainly in a realistic conception of colours. I am inspired by our beautiful Czech nature, which energizes me and brings me joy in my painting.Besides landscape painting I focus on encaustic energy paintings.Encaustic is one of the oldest painting techniques used in Egypt or ancient Greece. It is painting with colored hot wax on special paper or even on canvas. Each "stroke" of the hand brings very interesting effects with amazing colours and interesting light. I use this technique to create energetic and literally healing, positive paintings " tailored to everyone ", because " Colours are actually vibrations that affect our psyche. They affect our mood and health... "Leaving aside my childhood and student years, I have been a professional artist since 1994. In the beginning my paintings were signed VlMa or Martinková. The year 2016 became another new stage in my life, when I decided to fully devote myself to my love - fine art, which has always attracted me not only with the smell of colours and variety of materials, but most importantly, it became the meaning of life and peace of mind transferred to the painting canvas. In that year I also began to present my work under the brand and logo Kalach Art, which was created by combining the surname Kalach and the word Art and is characterized by the style and originality of my own work, which is different from other artists. Since then, my works have been signed V. Kalach.Besides painting and drawing, I am a member of the Association of Artists of the Czech Republic, Gallery of Artists and other art groups not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.
