Vlastimil Štol

I was born in the Highlands. I have been painting since I was young. I attended an art club under the guidance of the academic painter J. Zezula. I also consulted my paintings with the academic painter Jaroslav Polanský. I attended several exhibitions in the Highlands with the art group. My painting models were R.Hanych, B. Puchýř and J. Odvárka, whom I also knew personally. Now I live in Prague. Here I attended a painting course for a while and had two solo exhibitions. Otherwise I drew my artistic knowledge from the literature. In my spare time I continue to paint. My favourite medium is oil painting, but I also try other techniques and other ways of painting. I like to paint landscapes en plein air most of all. I will be glad if my paintings exhibited here will make you happy and possibly bring it to your home.
