My practice encompasses a variety of disciplines, but primarily involves painting on paper, collage and reassembling cut materials. I often see inspiration in architecture, sculpture, but also in human behaviour and the spaces I move through. Thus, the subject matter of the collages most often deals with psychological, sociological and philosophical issues. I am self-taught and create exactly what I need to see. My works reflect hope, peace, balance and space. This creates a kind of confrontation of today's hectic and chaotic times, where I feel the need to bring harmony and calm back into the space through the reduction of colours and shapes.
