I depicted fishermen returning from a long and demanding day at sea. They are tired, exhausted, but in their eyes there is deep satisfaction and gratitude for the bountiful harvest they brought. This scene, which I saw during one of my walks along the bay, immediately captivated me and remained in my memory. It was a moment of calm, of harmony between man and nature, which inspired me to create this painting. It took me more than four months to complete, full of moments of doubt and constant adjus
