The mask holds its shape, but inside everything branches, breaks and rejoins. Embroidered stitches function here as a nervous network. Irregular, sensitive and alive. Every intervention is a trace, a scar and an attempt at healing at the same time. The golden eye remains vigilant. It sees more than is pleasant, and is silent longer than is safe. The threads tighten, wrap and hold. Not as protection, but as a reminder of the border between holding and gripping. The purple background is not decoration. It is a space after disintegration.
