Martin Fabián Rusek

I received my artistic education (graphic, painting, photography and drama) under the guidance of excellent teachers at several art schools in Ostrava. I have been a freelance artist since 1999 and have realized 24 solo exhibitions. Over two hundred of my artworks have found a new home in private collections in the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Poland and Slovakia. Through painting I want to convey my perception of colours and the smell of the world to other people, above all I want to have fun with it and enjoy the process of painting. I am attracted to wild, expressive and spontaneous painting. I want to be clear and believable in my painting and I want to evoke positive emotions in people.I paint with my heart. I put a tremendous amount of energy and concentration into my painting. I believe it shows in the resulting works and a sensitive viewer is able to draw back the positive energy over the years.In addition to traditional exhibitions in stone galleries, I hold exhibitions on the fence of my house and in my garden. I also do outdoor travelling exhibitions in public spaces, and in this way I try to get closer to people with my art and perhaps even cross their paths. All of these outdoor exhibition projects are well received and well attended.
