Klaudie Švrčková is one of the painters of contemporary modern art and already at a young age she has had a number of exhibitions. She was born in 1998 in Český Těšín in Silesia. After successfully completing her secondary studies at an eight-year grammar school, she became a current student at the Faculty of Business at Brno University of Technology, where she is finishing her engineering degree this school year. Klaudie Švrčková has been drawing and painting since a young age thanks to her parents. Even though she never attended an art course or school, she found meaning in art and all the more motivation to work harder on her art at home. Thus, since 2015, her interest and colors have shifted primarily to the canvas. The focus of her current work is a combination of acrylic-tempera painting with elements of Pop Art and a contemporary style set primarily in portraits. The Pop Art-tinged paintings reflect in their own distinctive way the feelings, opinions, problems and joys of people in a unique world. Klaudie Švrčková opened her first exhibition in Brno at the VKH in 2018. Since then, she has not slackened in her artistic career and has managed to reap a number of successes. In recent years, she has participated twice in a joint international exhibition on the occasion of the festival "Open Studios" , an exhibition in the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, painted the Demeloch underpass in Český Těšín and realized 51 other solo exhibitions throughout the Czech Republic. In 2018, 2019 and 2022, she was featured in newspaper articles in the Hutník, Polar, Těšínské listy and Refresher newsletters, and after her commissioned painting of the underpass in Český Těšín, she appeared in radio and television recordings of other media.
